Nawpawsay

From the very beginning I knew that I want to do my project on someone from Burma, because after i been there I felt that everybody need to know what is going on there. So, a big part of my project is Working with a Karen women that live in Israel. I met Nawpawsay in Shenkar, she came to tell us(the students) about her culture, and the Karen Tribe, and the problem she is having with going back to Burma. Nawpawsay invited me to come to her house, and she introduce me to her family and her lifestyle. I fell in love with her and her family immediately! they welcomed me and told me many stories about the Karen, and showed me many videos on Youtube that explain about the Karen's culture.
